At STEM Squad, we provide engaging STEM education to children in our community, aiming to spark curiosity and a love for learning. Through hands-on activities—like building circuits, engineering wind turbines, designing catapults, and exploring photosynthesis—we make science fun, memorable, and accessible to all.
STEM Squad was founded by Daniela Staton in 2022 with a simple idea: make STEM approachable for kids without access to high-quality science learning. What began at a local library has grown into a student-led program reaching over 300 children through community partnerships and a dedicated youth volunteer team.
